Learn the elements of developing a successful sponsor relationship with a range of business sizes and types as a way to gain financial support for your productions and theater organizations.

This workshop will provide guidance around how to find, secure and retain sponsors, including details such as:
• Where to prospect sponsorship leads, and how to approach them.
• How to value your deliverables and create sponsorship opportunities and packages.
• How to execute sponsor partnerships, including fulfilling deliverables, tracking value, and retaining sponsors as long term partners.

Who Should Attend: Artistic Directors who wear multiple hats, Marketing and Development professionals who obtain sponsorships as part of their role, Marketing or Administrative Managers looking to expand their fundraising knowledge, Fundraising volunteers, Board Members, Development and Arts Administration Consultants, Development Professionals, Executive Directors, Managing Directors

Presenter Biography
Scott Mayer is the founder and project director of several arts and entertainment based projects including the Ivey Awards, the 12–year old Twin Cities professional theater project that culminates in the Ivey Awards show each September; the One Man Project, a non-profit organization encouraging young men to engage in their community, and the Charlie Awards, a celebration of the Twin Cities food and restaurant community entering its sixth year of production. Mayer was the originator of spark24, an event highlighting our performing arts community that was held at the start of the Republican National Convention, and Minneapolis MOSAIC, a celebration of cultural diversity through the arts.
